a small fishermen village
Raftrek Adventure Travel / Novigrad Zadarski

Novigrad Zadarski is a small fishermen village situated on the coast of Adriatic Sea deep in Novigrad Bay. Since the village has managed to preserve its authentic traditional architecture, untouched by modern tourism it makes it a must visit destination. Novigrad Zadarski is scattered along the coastline under well preserved 13th century fortress Fortica. National parks and nature reserves surround the Novigrad Bay area. Some of which are Kornati Islands, Krka River, Paklenica Canyon and Velebit Mountain.

Quiet village atmosphere

The morning fishermen’s market and quiet village atmosphere are perfect for guests who want to get away from big summer crowds yet feel good in friendly atmosphere. It is absolutely not a typical tourist-hotel resort. The river Zrmanja flows into the Novigrad sea, also making it rich with fish and shellfish. Therefore thanks to a fortunate combination of natural and cultural beauty, Novigrad by Zadar is a real paradise for every guest. Because of the small coves in the shadow of pine trees and beaches where you can swim.
