This active holiday called Zagreb City Adventure is all about exploring the capital of Croatia. Famous for its cultural beauties. Often ignored as tourists make a detour for the coast. Zagreb is an exciting city and offers a great window into Croatian culture. It offers arts, music, architecture, gastronomy and all the other things that make a quality capital city. Such as the lovely nature that surrounds it. Including Medvednica Nature Park. It has a great history dating from prehistoric times when first human settlements appeared. Therefore it is a favorite destination for the citizens of Zagreb and their guests.
Zagreb City Adventure unforgettable experience
While on board the Zagreb City Adventure tour we will kayak down Mreznica river. The fragrant fresh air will refresh our spirits. We will also visit National Park Plitvice Lakes. One of the oldest national parks in Southeast Europe. The largest national park in Croatia. Therefore Plitvice Lakes National Park were added to the UNESCO World Heritage register in 1979. The combination of activity, scenery and cultural immersion makes this journey a unique and unforgettable experience.
Day 1: Zagreb city bike tour, Zagreb night life with locals
Day 2: Mreznica River kayaking, Plitvice Lakes walking
Day 3: Trekking Medvednica Nature Park
Arrival to Zagreb

Upper Mreznica canyon and Plitvice Lakes walking
In the afternoon you’ll head to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a stunning landscape of lakes, forests, caves, and waterfalls. You’ll spend several hours hiking into the park, then head back to the start by boat and train. Return to Zagreb in the evening to enjoy the city.

Nature Park Medvednica (Bear Mountain)

We use a great hostel situated in the very heart of Zagreb.
Please check with us before purchasing your airline tickets to ensure your trip has the necessary minimum number of participants required to operate. Early arrivals / Extended stay notes – we include two transfers with each trip. These are usually the transfers on the first and the last day of the trip. In case you are arriving a few days earlier or extending your stay in Dubrovnik after your trip with us, we can provide additional airport transfers.
Meals tend to be fairly heavy on the meats and sausages, bread and pastries, pasta and dumplings. If you have special dietary needs, please let us know as soon as possible. Vegetarian diets can be accommodated but we recommend that you bring along with you some of your favorite protein snacks.

Cancelation made by Raftrek

Weather – the summers are typically warm and sunny. From May to October temperatures are comfortable for hiking, paddling, and swimming. Rain is always a possibility in Croatia so it is essential to bring adequate rain wear and a jacket in case of inclement weather.
