INFORMATION
This Adventure Sailing Dubrovnik to Hvar holiday isn’t just a sailing trip or adventure package. We designed this holiday for those who love being active outdoors, who admire art and history and who appreciate ancient architecture and local tradition. Daily activities on this adventure sailing tour are rather short and not too demanding, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the sun while sailing between Croatian-renowned islands. Dubrovnik, the Elaphiti shorelines, Mljet, Korcula and Hvar Islands are rich in history and natural variety – cliffs, caves, coves, rocks, beaches and pine forests. We will explore them while sailing on a modern catamaran sailboat, sea kayaking, cycling, stand-up paddling, swimming, snorkelling and on foot.
Adventure Sailing Dubrovnik to Hvar is awesome
Our experienced local guides and skippers will avoid overcrowded destinations ensuring you get the most authentic experience. We will be mooring in quiet places and have the opportunity to dine with local families in their homes and enjoy good food and excellent wine. Our tour Adventure Sailing Dubrovnik to Hvar will end in Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar where you have good connections with Split. Friendly dolphins or tuna that are often seen in the area escort our yachts. The sea is blue, clear, warm and friendly.
ITINERARY
DAY 1 – Sailing Dubrovnik to Šipan island
We head out from Dubrovnik towards the Elaphiti archipelago, before reaching Sipan Island, Luka Sipanska village where we anchor for the night. The island, which is only 16 square kilometers in size, is home to old summer estates and 34 churches that bear witness to a rich history that peaked during the era of the Dubrovnik Republic. Interestingly, Sipan was inscribed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the island with the greatest number of olive trees in comparison to its size. Here we spend the night and prepare for a long day of sailing.
Accommodation: catamaran
DAY 2 – Mljet National park
Today we head to Mljet Island and optionally its national park. Mljet is the most forested island in the Adriatic, and the National Park contains two salt lakes, with a Benedictine monastery on the Isle of St. Mary. You can visit the park with a bike, take a boat to visit the monastery of St. Mary and swim in the crystal clear turquoise waters of the lakes. We’ll head to the Zuljana bay at Peljesac peninsula for a local dinner and quiet overnight.
Accommodation: catamaran, Meals: B
DAY 3 – Korcula Island
After departing from Mljet we head towards Korcula Island. Its been known since the 6th century BC when it was an ancient Greek colony under the name of Korkyra Melaina (in translation “Black Korcula”, for its dark green pine forests). Korcula is also known as the hometown of the Polo-Depolo family, and according to some theories, the 13th-century explorer, and traveler Marco Polo, the first European to present facts about China and other Asian countries. We’ll stop at Badija Island for a swimming break, and head to the main city of the island for lunch and exploring. We’ll head back to Peljesac peninsula in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: catamaran, Melas: B
DAY 4 – Paklinski Islands archipelago
In the morning we sail out toward Hvar Island, a well known Adriatic gem. Discover its amazing shorelines and Paklinski Islands archipelago. We’ll get lunch in one of the bays, and chill, swimm and paddle after. We end our day with a dinner in a calm seaside restaurant for some local cuisine and wine.

DAY 5 – Sailing to Hvar and farewell
This morning we head toward Hvar island and it’s capital – city of Hvar. Before we say our goodbyes, we’ll stop for a refreshing swimming break. Hvar island was once a Greek colony, but today it is famous Mediterranean tourist spot for culture, food and wine, adventure and nightlife. This is where you disembark and continue your travel towards Split. Leave some time to explore its narrow streets and time permitting visit the Stari Grad and it’s plain, UNESCO protected the cultured landscape, cultivated from Greek and Roman times until today.
