INFORMATION

Kornati National Park Sailing Adventure is a tour designed for those who appreciate an active holiday with a dose of sailing luxury. Croatia is one of the most popular European destinations for sailing, and undoubtedly, Kornati National Park Islands are its best part. In the coastal waters of Sibenik, there is an archipelago of 152 islands, 89 of which are part of the Kornati National Park. On this trip, we take advantage of locations accessible only by boat and enjoy the crystal clear waters and unearthly peaceful atmosphere far away from the crowds.

Sailing in the Kornati National Park Archipelago

While we sail we look for the most beautiful bays to anchor in. If you like being active, enjoy kayaking to hidden beaches and coves, or just stick by the boat snorkelling, SUP, and swimming. You will have plenty of leisure time aboard the catamaran, sailing and enjoying the sun and amazing scenery. Keep an eye out for friendly dolphins, tuna, and sea turtles which occasionally escort us while we sail. In the evenings we dock or anchor in quiet bays where we visit traditional taverns with exquisite local food. Local food is a big part of what this tour is about and our guides and skippers will be happy to guide you to the best and most authentic places. Croatia is alive with well-preserved old towns, castles, palaces, monuments, and native architecture. Together with the tradition, folklore, art scenes, and music, it is a unique and exotic place to discover.

DAY 1 – Arrive at the destination – Skradin, and sail out to the islands

We meet at the ACI Marina in Skradin and we sail out to Prvic Island for an inspirational walk around this tiny island with no cars. DAY 2 – Sailing in the Kornati Archipelago with kayaking

We sail to Kornati National Park where we explore its many islands, islets, and reefs. For a more close-up experience of the sea and its wildlife, we leave our boat and kayak through the places we want to explore further. Using a smaller vessel, we can access all the beautiful and secluded beaches and coves otherwise inaccessible by boat. In the afternoon we anchor in a bay of Smokvica Island for dinner and a trek to the top of the island where we have a magnificent view of the sunset over the archipelago. We finish off the evening with dinner in a wonderful local tavern.

DAY 3 – Sailing towards Zirje and Zlarin Islands

Our island hopping and sailing adventure continues and we spend the first part of the day sailing towards Zirje Island. We swim, kayak, SUP, and snorkel in great locations, and in the late afternoon, we sail on towards Zlarin Island where we anchor in a quiet bay for the night. Spend a pleasant evening walking in the serene ambiance of the village, tasting local food and wine.
