Raftrek Custom Tour
Comment origin: TripAdvisorThanks Raftrek, for a great tour of beautiful Croatia! We are accustomed to independent travel, but had so many activities we wanted to do and cities to visit, we were overwhelmed. I contacted Branka with my tentative itinerary--could you provide us a guide for a custom tour? Of course! She made excellent suggestions and always responded quickly to my many questions, revisions and requests. Thanks for your patience! She also provided us with Tin, our fabulous guide. After we spent 2 days in Dubrovnik on our own, Tim drove us to and/or accompanied us on so many activities from sea kayaking to Kolocep Island, Kornati Boat Tour, cycling and SUPing in Krka, running in Split, rafting in the Cetina River, to ziplining in Omis and much more. Tin's an excellent driver, knowledgeable in all things Croatia, speaks great English (and is surprisingly well-versed in American culture and colloquialisms-although we taught him a few things too). He is also very cheerful, friendly and exceptionally professional, organized and punctual! Added bonus? Hate bothering others to take photos of the two of you? Ask Tin! Need brochures/pamphlets for your scrapbooks? Ask Tin! He truly wanted us to enjoy our vacation and learn to love Croatia. Too bad he feel quite ill near the end of the trip (hope you are better and back in action!). When this happened, Branka promptly provided us with a new quide to finish our last couple of days en route to Zagreb. If you are independent-minded and wary of group travel (waiting for others-ugh!), this is the way to go. Create your own itinerary, then have Branka plan the details and Tin take care of the rest. No stress travel! Thanks, Raftrek!

Explore Croatia multisport custom trip
Comment origin: TripAdvisorWe wanted to visit Croatia’s Dalmation coast and islands, and to experience both the beauty of this spectacular area and to learn about its culture and history. Branka at Raftrek helped us plan a wonderful custom trip which included outdoor adventures, such as cycling and kayaking, along with tours of historic cities and an introduction to Croatian culture. Tin and Igor did a great job of guiding us to beautiful “off the beaten track” locations, including kayaking to a cave and small islands, and cycling and hiking in lovely places away from the main tourist areas. They also helped us meet locals with visits to a winery and some great traditional Croatian family restaurants. The guides did a super job with the logistics of shuttling the bikes and kayaks which made it easy for us to just relax and enjoy our activities and sightseeing. We can strongly recommend this trip to anyone who wants a blend of outdoor adventure and cultural exploration.
