ITINERARY

DAY 1 – Cycling – Black Lake cycling

We will meet up in Komolac near Dubrovnik by 10 AM, and drive to Montenegro to start our adventure. First stop – Black Lake. This glacial lake is located in Durmitor National Park and depending on the timing of your visit, you may see one or two bodies of water. They are connected by a narrow stream that dries up during summer, creating two distinct lakes. Enjoy gorgeous views during the short cycle around the lakes and check into your accommodation.

Accommodation: guesthouses

DAY 2 – Trekking – National Park Durmitor

We drive to the saddle and start the trek on the route which leads to the highest peak of Durmitor, Bobotov Kuk. Your reward for a somewhat demanding hike is a beautiful view of the surrounding summits. The final stretch to Bobotov Kuk is quite difficult, but it is possible to finish the trek earlier and still enjoy stunning views.

Accommodation: guesthouses

DAY 3 – Rafting – Tara River

The Tara River is one of the best rivers for rafting in this part of Europe. Crystal clear water cuts through the deep canyon surrounded by cliffs and trees. We raft the 12-kilometer long section. Visit a monastery dating back to the 13th century and make a swimming stop in the so-called Gardens of Paradise – a gorgeous river section below a mountain creek. Rapids are easy and fun, class 2-3. After the trip, we stop for an authentic local specialty – the trout.

Accommodation: guesthouses

DAY 4 – Departure – Return to Dubrovnik

We finish up our Montenegro multisport adventure. If you decide to spend more time in Montenegro or Croatia, our guides will be happy to recommend other beautiful places to visit – especially those you won’t find in tourist guide books. However, you can further combine some of our follow up trips, to further extend your stay.
