Cycling Krka River
Krka River | Krka National Park | Island and Lake Visovac | Town of Skradin
A Bike Ride through Krka National Park
There is hardly a better way to discover Krka National Park than by cycling. The trail will take you through the protected nature rich with history.
Our first stop will be at Lake Visovac where a boat will take us to the small island of the same name. Situated on that islet is a Franciscan monastery where you visit the museum and learn about interesting history of the area.
Swimming Under the Waterfalls
On our way back we stop for a swim at 44 m (144 ft) high Skradinski buk waterfall. Swimming under this impressive waterfall is surely an experience you will never forget.
We finish our tour in Skradin, where we started. We recommend you to explore Skradin too. It is a pretty little town with a labyrinth of small streets. Bill Gates said Skradin was the best place for summer vacations, so you should take his recommendation into the account, too.
Cycling Trip in Dalmatia
This trip will introduce you to a different side of Dalmatia, the southernmost Croatian region. What people usually see are the coast, the islands and ancient towns like Split, Dubrovnik or Trogir. But, Dalmatian inland has a whole different atmosphere that is worth discovering.
This biking tour through Krka National Park will introduce you to the calmer, quieter side of Dalmatia. And we are sure you will enjoy it.
