Plitvice Lakes National Park
Plitvice Lakes National Park (colloquial Plitvice, pronounced [plîtʋitse]) is one of the oldest national parks in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. North Velebit National Park
The area was designated a national park due to its richness of karst phenomena, outstanding biodiversity and exquisitely beautiful nature on a relatively small area. The most famous is the Premužić trail, named after its constructor who built it in late 1933. Since the path runs through the most beautiful and the most interesting parts of the park. From the numerous peaks in the surroundings, you can have a magnificent view of the Adriatic Sea, its islands and the continental side of the mountain chain.
Brijuni National Park
The Brijuni or the Brijuni Islands (also known as the Brionian Islands; Italian: Brioni) are a group of fourteen small islands in the Croatian part of the northern Adriatic Sea, separated from the west coast of the Istrian peninsula by the narrow Fažana Strait. The largest island, Veliki Brijun Island 2 kilometers (1 mile) off the coast. The second largest island is Mali Brijun with an area of 1.07 km², and twelve much smaller islands. Paklenica National Park
National Park Paklenica covers 95 sq km of this mountain chain. Rising high above the Adriatic. The stark peaks of the Velebit Massif stretch for 145 km.
