Raftrek Travel is in search of new adventure guides!

Raftrek Adventure Travel / Adventure travel  / Raftrek Travel is in search of new adventure guides!

Adventure guide’s job is more like a lifestyle, it offers more than the job itself. Adventure guide’s job includes working on “off the beaten path” destinations, on the rivers, mountains, canyons, at the sea, on the islands. We have the best office!

Our primary job is to guide our guests safely on activities, and animation is a crucial part of it. We try to make our guests feel at home, while they learn about Croatia and our heritage. Our secondary job is to relax, enjoy, camp, barbecue, explore…

Who are we searching for?

The ideal adventure guide is a nature and outdoor lover, who tends to have an active lifestyle and loves people. Knowledge of English is a must (another language is an advantage), as well as a driver’s license. You should be well organized with a sense of priorities, and know how to deal with stressful situations. Also, as this work is done in the most beautiful office in the world – you should be prepared not to be at home for a few months at a time.

What do we actually do?

We have a few bases in Croatia, and we’re searching for new adventure guides. Before you start working, you’ll get full training from our in-house qualified River Rescue instructor, as well as our adventure experts with over 10 years of experience. This initial training will be held over a one-month period, and in Zagreb on Sava river, as well as on Mreznica and Zrmanja river, and in Skradin and Krka National Park surroundings. Only candidates that finish the full training will be offered a job, as we want only the best for our guests.

Nika decided to join the Raftrek team in search of new adventures in her career. Her job within Raftrek connects her love for organization, traveling, culture and ethnology, with her curiosity. She will take care of every detail for you. She knows where you can drink the best coffee, where all the best-hidden beaches are, where that shortcut with that great view is or that beautiful mushroom that grows along the path. In the meantime, she spends time with her grandparents, taking notes on traditional ways of life.
